Properties and benefits of cloves

Don't be fooled by the name, cloves are different from the carnation you can grow in the garden. To keep blood sugar at bay, therefore, you can add a pinch of clove powder to foods to take advantage of their beneficial effect on blood sugars. To counteract high cholesterol, however, you can add a teaspoon of clove powder to your own food or chew one whole after each meal. Alternatively you can mix some powder with warm water and consume it every morning on an empty stomach.

However, the benefits of cloves don't stop there. Other properties that improve our health are:
