How to prepare mozzarella in carrozza: procedure

  • Toast the bread in a non-stick pan for a few minutes on each side, without making it excessively amber and let it cool.
  • To cut the mozzarella into small pieces and drain.
  • Shell the eggs in a bowl, beat them with a fork and put plenty of flour in a bowl, pass the mozzarella into the eggs and then into the flour, then set aside.

  • Leek the freshly prepared mozzarella between two slices of toasted bread, pass the sandwich in the egg and then in the flour, taking care to cover it entirely with both ingredients, in order to seal the mozzarella placed inside.
