Homemade mint and peach popsicles, prescription to prepare them with fresh seasonal fruit and self-produced syrup. 



To get a fresher flavor we decided to use mint leaves which, when shredded together with the peaches, give color and flavor. If you prefer a more delicate taste, you can safely omit them or reduce the quantity.

If you don't have popsicle molds available, you can recycle the yogurt pots and also use the wooden sticks of other well-cleaned ice creams or take new ones; to be able to insert them vertically you will have to fill the jars with the mixture and put them in the freezer for at least half an hour, in this period of time the surface will freeze and you will then be able to insert the stick so that it remains straight.

  • 100 gr of mint syrup
  • 300 grams of water
  • 200 g of peaches already cleaned
  • 2 mint leaves

How to make mint and peach popsicles: procedure

 



  • Mix syrup with water,
  • put the peaches and mint leaves in a food processor and chop them into a puree,

  • put now on the bottom of your mold some puree or water and mint and put away the freeer,
  • after about thirty / forty minutes take them back and add a little more mixture, however, alternating the flavors, so where there was the puree add the mint and vice versa,
  • continue like this until the little bottles are filled to the brim,
  • put them in the freezer and after about half an hour take them back and insert the stick.
  • Put away back into the freezer and wait for complete freezing,
  • one time ready, just heat the jar with your hand and pull the popsicle away with the stick.
