Cashews are a perfect snack, good and rich in properties, these small fruits provide us with the right charge of energy thanks to the presence of numerous vitamins and mineral salts inside them.

Furthermore, contrary to what one might think, they do not contain cholesterol and are rich in proteins, good fats and antioxidants. But what is often overlooked is that they can also help you relax and sleep better, as they contain tryptophan, precursor of serotonin. 

How to make cashew milk

A famous Indian nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, shared the cashew milk recipe on Twitter, also talking about the main benefits of this drink in a video.



The doctor recommends making cashew milk and consuming it just before going to sleep. Let's see how to do it ...

Take a handful of cashews, soak them in milk (also vegetable) for about 4-5 hours. After having softened, the cashews are pounded in a mortar until they become a smooth paste which is then added to a container with a cup of milk inside. Stir and add another ladle of already hot milk. Boil everything, add some sugar or other sweetener (if necessary) and then drink the hot or cold cashew milk, depending on your taste. 

As for the benefits of cashew milk, the doctor explains that:

It is something that will help calm your gut and ensure that your skin is glowing and that you can sleep like a baby.
