Autumn: 5 ways to stay fit with your dog

Autumn: 5 ways to stay fit with your dog

Autumn has arrived and with it the bad thoughts: now that we have put away the swimsuits we can stock up on the sweets that enticed us before the summer and which we avoided in view of the fateful swimwear test. Now to protect us, loose sweaters and comfortable jackets. In reality, we should be convinced that there is no better time than autumn to chase away this dangerous eating routine: the summer heat is now far away and the temperature is optimal for dedicating ourselves to our well-being and that of our animal friends.

Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Autumn has arrived and with it the bad thoughts: now that we have put away our swimsuits we can stock up on the sweets that have enticed us before the summer and which we have avoided in view of the fateful swimwear test. Now to protect us, loose sweaters and comfortable jackets. We should actually be convinced that there is no better time than autumn to banish this dangerous eating routine: the summer heat is now far away and the temperature is optimal to dedicate ourselves to our well-being and that of our animal friends.

Here is our Top 5 for this fall!

    5) Drink lots of water

Said thus it may seem a simple thing but it is not at all. Lots of people during the day they don't drink enough and are unable to replenish the loss of fluids. Obviously, coffee, cocktails and drinks in general are not covered for this purpose. Water helps us stay fit and keep our body in balance.

Even our beloved Fido probably isn't getting the right amount of fluids. To overcome this problem, we place his bowl in a clearly visible point of the house or if he lives in a large space, we arrange some in a "strategic" way throughout the area.

    4) Fighting Stress

Stress is the scourge of our age. Subtle and silent, he is capable of unleashing an infinity of ailments in us: from headaches, to bad moods, to a widespread sense of anxiety. And qhen we are stressed, our discomfort also affects our four-legged friend. So the first thing to do is to fight it by all means. Maybe we can try a quarter of an hour of yoga, in a quiet room of the house where you can meditate, or maybe just relax by listening to our breath. We also invite our dog to this oasis of peace to relax together.

    3) Practice a holistic life path

You don't necessarily have to be hippie or "freakkettoni" for one holistic care. Through the internet or in our trusted shop we can get valuable advice on herbal teas, herbs, supplements and alternative therapies. Acupuncture, for example, does not benefit everyone but it is an ancient therapeutic technique, previous to modern Western medicine, which could help us in a natural way. Even fido can have its own holistic path, perhaps starting with the diet: buy 100% natural food without preservatives, artificial colors or flavorings. And maybe we trust some TTouch sessions so that he too can benefit from ancient wisdom.

    2) Exercise

Many people are downright terrified of the word "exercise", underestimating the risks of a sedentary lifestyle. Moving is good and you don't need to have the times of a sprinter. Just a little good will and maybe a nice DVD with cardio-fitness exercises or better still two or three walks of about fifteen minutes each accompanied by our faithful dog. If you have trouble staying constant and making a commitment to yourself, at least do it with Fido.

    1) Eat well to feel fit

Diets are one of the most treated and mistreated topics ever. There are hundreds of them, some balanced, others decidedly more drastic and harmful. But have we ever wondered if it is possible to prevent instead of having to cure? Have we ever thought of having a healthier and more controlled diet based on extremely natural foods? Have we ever eaten consciously? Do we pay due attention to the ingredients contained in the products we buy?

All this could give a positive change to our life and also to that of our beloved Fido. And there is no better time than a melancholy autumn.
