    This is confirmed by a Danish study. Half an hour of exercise a day is enough to stay toned and lose weight. It is not necessary to undergo long and stressful training sessions in gym. According to the Danish researchers, those who exercise for 30 minutes a day face a one-third greater weight loss, compared to those who engage in physical activity for twice as long.

    Too long workouts risk leaving us completely weak and demotivating. With shorter and lighter exercise sessions, however, we will be more likely to engage in physical activity every day. The study in question was conducted by experts from theUniversity of Copenhagen and was published in the Scandinavian Journal of Public Health.

    The researchers involved in the study 60 pretty overweight Danish men. The observations lasted for 13 settimane. The volunteers were divided into two groups. The daily workout had to consist of jogging and exercise on the stationary bike. A duration of 30 minutes was foreseen for the first group and 1 hour for the second group.

    Il outcome? Participants who only trained for half an hour a day achieved better weight loss milestones. Volunteers from the first group had lost 3,6 chili, while the weight loss of the participants in the second group, who had trained twice as long, was only 2,7 kilos.

    From here the conclusions of the experts. With a shorter workout, the body is not exhausted, but still full of energy. After a run or an exercise bike, you still want to go out for a walk, for example take the dog for a walk, or of Go upstairs, instead of opting for the elevator. The secret to losing weight and staying fit? Constant and moderate exercise, which results a pleasure and not a duty.
