In the sentence of the court of Rimini it was said that the autistic disorder is attributable with reasonable scientific probability to the administration of the Mpr vaccine. Now, according to the Bologna Court of Appeal, there is insufficient evidence to confirm the link between autism and vaccines.
In particular, according to the expert, the judgment of the Rimini court was based on irrelevant studies for the scientific community. It was therefore one judgment not supported by sufficiently valid scientific evidence?
It seems that among the studies cited in the sentence there was also an article by Andrew Wakefield, a British doctor now disbarred for publishing a study that was later considered a fraud.
The technical-scientific consultant who has now been involved in re-evaluating the sentence He believes and there is no objective temporal correlation in the clinical history of the child involved between the progressive appearance of autistic disorders and the Mpr vaccine. There is only one fact, which is that the two events occurred one after the other, but this is not considered sufficient to relate them.
The first instance ruling had established that autism could only be due to the vaccine, in the absence of other causes. But now the Court of Appeal has considered this statement as devoid of logic as well as scientific basis.
So aren't autism and vaccines related? There is an even more important question: what are the real causes of autism?
