Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerous

Not just tea and biscuits, in this nursing home in Switzerland patients are treated and relaxed thanks to marijuana.

In Tilleuls, in a nursing home located in Geneva, patients have already been taking CBD, i.e. cannabis with less than 1% THC, for two years, as part of a study conducted by University Hospitals of Geneva since 2017.

Not all guests within the facility take marijuana, the intake of this substance is limited to patients who have followed the standard therapies provided without any positive feedback.

When all options, including side-effect medications, fail to reduce muscle pain, a few drops of CBD oil are very effective.

The results of this practice and its effects, according to the hospice staff, were immediately visible, especially in patients with cognitive disorders.

During the testing phase, carried out in collaboration with the University Hospitals of Geneva and the Federal Office of Public Health, the doctors found a noticeable reduction in pain and muscle tension in patients treated with CBD.

A treat for everyone?

After this result, the medical staff of the facility is even evaluating the hypothesis of extending the treatment to all patients, also based on various researches according to which marijuana intake would have positive effects in relieving pain, stress, anxiety, nausea and muscle spasms. It is not the first time that we talk about cannabis and its therapeutic power, now we also have the testimonies of the patients of this structure.
