Conte's statements come at the end of a day in which i coronavirus deaths reach 4825 (793 only today), but above all after that, in the afternoon, the President of Lombardy Attilio Fontana had issued an ordinance to fix even more stringent rules until April 15 and hoped for an intervention by the Government to suspend all the productions that are not part of the of essential supply chains.
"We slow down the country's productive engine, but we don't stop it" and again "a step back to start again with momentum", declared President Conte, appealing to everyone's civic sense: "the community must tighten to protect life ”And guaranteed extraordinary measures that will allow them to get up as soon as possible.
So what changes? Supermarkets, pharmacies and postal, banking and financial services will remain open. On the other hand, factories and non-essential productions will remain closed.
"Outside of the activities deemed essential, we will only allow work to be carried out in smart working mode and will only allow production activities that are considered relevant for national production", concludes the Premier.
