Procedure for the bread balls:
- Place the stale bread in a bowl full of water and wait for it to double its volume by absorbing it.
- At this point, squeeze it, crumble it and put it in a large bowl.

- Add then the egg and the cheese, and mix everything by mixing the ingredients well.

- Lining now a pan with parchment paper.
- Ffill with the mixture of meatballs medium-sized and put them in the pan.
- Sprinkle the meatballs on the surface with oil and bake in a hot oven at 220 ° for about thirty-five minutes or in any case until golden brown.
- When cooked, remove from the oven.

- Let the bread balls rest for a few minutes before serving.
