TreeHouse: in Canada the 100% recycled tree house

Owning a tree house is probably the unfulfilled dream of many children and even some nostalgic adults. Building a house among the trees, in full respect of nature and perhaps using recycled materials, however, is not an impossible undertaking. A recent example of this type comes to us directly from Canada, where a tree house was recently built using materials that would otherwise have had to be burned in order to get rid of it.

Own one tree house probably represents the unfulfilled dream of many children and even some nostalgic adults. Building a house among the trees, in full respect of nature and perhaps using gods recycled materials however, it is not an impossible undertaking. A recent example of this type comes to us directly from Canada, where a tree house was recently built using materials that would otherwise have had to be burned in order to get rid of it.

The tree house we refer to was built in the Canadian province of Ontario, inside a wood owned by Lynne Knowlton. The woman, particularly attentive to the environment, has decided to build her own tree house using wood and recycled materials that up to two years earlier belonged to the some friends' barn, which was sadly engulfed by a tornado. Lynne decided to purchase these materials in order to reuse them, to avoid them ending up in a landfill and being incinerated.

Reclaimed wood was also used for the construction of the kitchen worktop which is located inside the house. In the kitchen there is also a salvaged porcelain sink from a neighbor who no longer used it. The tree house is used as a kind of refuge to relax and temporarily withdraw from the world. The entrance to the house is dominated by a canopy that forms a comfortable veranda, reachable via a special staircase.

This tree house is an example of how they can exist concrete alternatives to common brick houses, which are made according to criteria capable of guaranteeing greater respect for nature. Spending time in the tree house allows its owner to periodically get away from the problems of daily routine and enjoy a serene and relaxing view of the green vegetation that surrounds it. The fact that the house is located on a tree is not to the detriment of the refinement of the interior furnishings, conceived in perfectly modern and comfortable style, despite having foreseen the use of recycled materials.

Lynne Knowlton was thus able to apply her true and indispensable Fr.assione per l’interior design, creating a decidedly home eco-friendly, whose construction was planned in order to save materials from landfills that are actually still perfectly usable, despite being hit by a tornado. The solution found by Lynne for their reuse is to be considered really smart and intelligent. This is an idea that can certainly be imitated by other people on similar occasions, or if you have a large amount of building materials available that it would be a real shame to get rid of.
