tiny house: millions of people all over the world are choosing innovative small, compact and, above all, economic housing solutions to live in. It is above all in the States that micro-houses are starting to conquer a new way of thinking and building buildings.

This is clearly demonstrated by the inhabitants of Boneyard Studios, who in 2012 gave birth to a whole village of little little houses on wheels, complete with flourishing organic gardens. And they didn't do it in a wasteland, but inside the US capital, Washington DC.

The mission is noble and goes beyond simple living. The goal, in fact, is to demonstrate that it is possible to create a creative urban fabric within the many free lots of the city, promoting the extremely affordable, simple, green and attractive model of the Tiny house and developing the skills and creativity of designers and builders.

In fact, at Boneyard Studios, you can learn everything there is to know about the design, construction and living of homes that are no larger than 60 square meters. Hard work is also being done here to persuade city officials to review outdated urban planning codes so that people can actually live in their low-impact sheds full-time.

There are currently four Tiny houses on display at Boneyard Studios: Minim House, Brian's award-winning creation, just over 60 square meters, The Matchbox di Jay e Lee's Pear House, both with just 40 square meters, and, finally, Indulgent Restraint di Elaine, of the modest size of about 36 square meters. Uninhabitable? Think again by looking at these photos:
