An idea born for some time, on which the Sardinian authorities are working hard. The calls for adoption will be announced soon 10 splendid Sardinian lighthouses, which for 50 years will be rented to private individuals, with the economic possibility of recovering them and giving them back to their former glory.

Il project Horizon fari is part of the broader “Project for the enhancement of the maritime-coastal heritage”.

“The Region has assets of great value: we want to enable them to create income and employment. We are well aware that playing this game means having to deal with bureaucratic complexities and litigation, but you cannot continue to keep them blocked as has been done for too long, with the result of seeing them often transformed into abandoned ruins " he said the president of the Region Francesco Pigliaru.
