When you see that the syrup has formed and the sugar has dissolved completely, all you have to do is filter the mixture obtained with a sieve and transfer it to another glass jar or bottle.

So when you have a cough you can try to calm it by taking it in the morning and in the evening or when you need it 1 or 2 teaspoons of this natural syrup which can be kept in the pantry for a long time, even for a year.
