Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerousCannabis yes, cannabis no? The dilemma regardingtherapeutic use of this natural substance is slowly dissolving, region after region in our country. Tuscany, Liguria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Marche, Veneto, Puglia, Abruzzo and Umbria have already expressed positive opinion. To them is now also added the Sicilia.
It was in fact recently a resolution approved by the regional council thanks to which Lucia Borsellino, councilor for health, will be able to implement all the necessary measures to ensure that in the future accredited health structures (public and private) can use cannabinoid-based drugs.
The provision was born not only considering the legislative changes of recent periods concerning the use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes but also some judicial sentences that have allowed sick people (especially suffering from multiple sclerosis) to get therapies based on this plant. Thus commented Rosario Crocetta, president of the Region: “it is a provision of particular civil and social value that puts the Sicilian Region at the forefront like other European regions“.
It is now known as cannabinoids are particularly useful to those undergoing treatment for the multiple sclerosis (they would in fact be able to keep muscle spasms under control) but the active ingredients contained in cannabis could also help those who are undergoing chemotherapy a lot, in particular by decreasing the appearance of side effects and increasing appetite.
Obviously the prescription of cannabinoid drugs will be of exclusive medical relevance and can only take place within accredited health facilities or at the home of the patients to whom they will be prescribed.
