The Dublin National Conference Center is about to open, a building designed by Irish architect Kevin, which represents a commendable project for design and sustainability.

Designed by award winning Irish architect Kevin Roche Pritzker Prize and authentic glass creator, the Convention Center Ireland's most ambitious will open to the public in September 2010. 5 minutes from the city center, the Dublin National Conference Centre (DNCC) is a five-level building with a glass structure that overlooks Dublin's Port, Spencer Dock, on the River Liffey. Construction materials are concrete and fibers low carbon steel. The plants exploit sustainable energy sources and, in line with the dictates of the Kyoto Protocol for balancing the residual emissions of the building, the "carbon shares"Defined by the Voluntary Carbon Standard.

And the first major booking has already been made official: 1000 international delegates in 2011 which, thanks to Roche's devices, will have a negligible impact on the planet.

The National Conference Center will be able to welcome up to 8000 guests at the same time in different situational areas. A prestigious work that required an investment of 380 million euros.
