We had already talked to you about this project of roadman's houses and not only that aims at the enhancement of over 103 public buildings to be transformed into a key economic and sustainable development, with the aim of promoting the tertiary sector.
There are inns, hostels, former school buildings and still monasteries, castles and historic buildings, all united by abandonment and decay. A glorious past, a future to be rewritten thanks to ArtBonus decree became law.
The Call for the first 43 properties managed directly by the State Property and which are located on is now online cycle and pedestrian paths and historical-religious traces, thus favoring the slow Tourism, through structures that will become receptive places.
Until the next 11 December it will be possible to download on the State Property website the single national call, the "Guide to the call" and all the documentation concerning the first properties owned by the State in the tender (or thirty).
In the next few days, the other local authorities involved will also publish on their respective institutional websites, the announcements of the 13 assets owned by them included in the initiative, for a total, therefore, of 43 properties.

Call for walks and routes, how to participate
The announcement is aimed at enterprises, cooperatives and associations composed mainly of during 40 who will be able to obtain the properties in free concession for 9 years.
As we read in the document:
"To participate it is necessary to present - by 12.00 on 11 December 2017- a proposal that does not provide for the offer of a fee: the evaluation will be based solely on the qualitative elements of the project presented, which must be consistent with the philosophy and aims of the initiative. First of all, the hypothesis of rrecovery and reuse of the asset which will have to include new functions capable of offering services to the traveler, as well as protecting the historical and identity character of the property and the context in which it is inserted ".
The proposal will then be evaluated on the basis of tourism development and its economic and social benefit, both in terms of promotion of slow travel. Finally, among the factors that will affect the score of the proposal also the environmental sustainability and the specific actions envisaged for the safeguarding and protection of the environment, such as the use of bio-compatible materials and bioclimatic techniques and devices and energy efficiency, therefore the actions aimed at reducing consumption and implementation of renewable sources.

The second call, dedicated to the most prestigious properties, which will assign the remaining assets to operators, without age limits. The announcement will concern assets that require substantial investments, to be entrusted in concession for enhancement up to 50 years with a rent and a sustainable project that provides for its recovery and reuse.
