Fifth energy account. There are now 200 million euros left at the end of the era of photovoltaic incentives. So many if you look at the figures themselves, but a trifle if placed in relation to what is necessary to ensure that the sector can fly high. The Energy Services Manager himself announced the achievement of the 6,5 billion euro incentives

fifth energy tale. There are now 200 million euros missing at the end of the era of incentives for photovoltaics. Many if you look at the figures themselves, but a trifle if placed in relation to what is necessary to ensure that the sector can fly high. To announce the achievement of 6,5 billion EUR of incentives was the same Energy Services Manager.

In fact, yesterday 16 December reached 6,5 billion. Today, to be precise, they are 6.500.174.264, as shown by the photovoltaic meter on the GSE website. Not a small amount, but unfortunately not enough and close to the end.

Some figures. The Operator says that the plants that entered into operation in total from the First Energy Account as of December 16, 2012 are 463.746 for a power equal to 16.104 MW to which are added 2.670 plants registered in the registers in a useful position for a power equal to 650 MW. Only by counting the data of the fifth energy tale, there were 19.918 new plants, with an installed power of 1.050.853 kW and an annual cost of 111.823.680 euros.

However, one must be done clarification. When the incentives reach 6,7 billion what will happen? According to Gerardo Montanino del Gse, the incentive / bonus requests sent through the methods in use (portal) will retain the right to be evaluated, relating to both "plants that have already entered into operation, provided that they are received within 30 calendar days from the date of reaching 6,7 billion euros, both to the plants entered in a useful position in the registers, not lapsed". For this reason, the date considered will not be that of entry into operation of the plant but the one on which the GSE will receive the application for admission to the incentives, ie within 30 calendar days of reaching 6,7 billion euros.

In any case, the incentives paid out through the Fifth Conto Energia managed to resist more than initially expected. A few weeks after going into effect on August 27, it was feared that their duration would be limited to a few months, if not a few weeks.

After the closure of registrations in the first register, dated September, the incentives on the meter were equal to 6,33 billion euros. This means that about 170 million were given out in three months.

Continuing at this pace, incentives may have some hope of seeing spring.
