The GSE counter is now close to 6 billion. What will happen when they are achieved?
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himfifth energy tale. Perhaps we won't have to wait long for the new photovoltaic incentives. While talking about the changes to be made to the draft, the meter of the Energy Services Operator continues to rise.
This means that we are getting closer and closer to 6 billion. From the beginning until today, the total of incentives enjoyed by the photovoltaic sector is equal to 5 billion and 746 million. But not only. If we add to this figure the 56 million euros linked to the large plants registered in the register but still waiting to go into operation, we reach 5 billion and 802 million euros.
Calculator in hand, they would be missing "just" 198 million euro before you hit the 6 billion mark. Once this figure has been reached, after 30 days, the incentives provided for by the Fifth Energy Account would automatically pass, sending the Fourth into retirement.
According to draft, from the very beginning, in fact, one of the conditions linked to the entry into force of the new incentive system would have been the achievement of 6 billion. This is in particular what Art. 1 of decree, at point 3: "The incentive modalities governed by this decree are applied starting from 1 July 2012, if at that date the indicative cumulative annual cost of the incentives has reached the value of 6 billion euros per year from at least 30 days, as resolved by the Authority according to the procedure referred to in paragraph 2, or, if the aforementioned condition does not occur, after thirty days from the date of publication of the resolution referred to in paragraph 2 ".
We're almost there now. It is perhaps no coincidence that one of the first requests for changes suggested by the Regions it's about the postponement of entry into force from 1st July to 1st October. An additional advantage if we consider that the Fifth Energy Account would start if the total expenditure value of € 1 billion has been reached by at least 6 days by 30 October.
It is unknown how long it will take before reaching the infamous figure. There may be a real one rush to the facilities, above all because the new energy account has foreseen an expenditure ceiling of only 500 million euros, perhaps raised to 749.
Then yes, taking advantage of the incentives would be much more difficult.
