It is also desirable to increase the efficiency of the means of public transport and initiatives aimed at encouraging the development of sustainable mobility networks.

    On weekdays, that is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 19:30, during the 18 months of experimentation with the provision, cars will no longer be able to enter the Cerchia dei Bastioni a petrol Euro 0 and car a diesel Euro 0, Euro 1, Euro 2 and Euro 3.

    For vehicles excluded from the above categories, there is one access fee of 5 Euros.

    However, there are some exceptions:

    1) The electric vehicles they do not pay for access and circulate freely.

    2) The vehicles a gpl, a methane and hybrid cars will have free access throughout 2012.

    The question is more complex for those who live within the Cerchia dei Bastioni. THE residents, the domiciled and those who have a box belonging to the area concerned will be able to take advantage of 40 free entries in the Cerchia dei Bastioni on an annual basis, to reward the sporadic use of the car. Subsequent admissions will cost 2 Euros, instead of 5 Euros. Both the free accesses and the 2 Euro coupons will be valid for one day; that is, only one entrance per day in the area will be climbed.

    Residents will also have the possibility, only until 31 December 2012, to access the area with cars Diesel Euro 3 without a particulate filter and will have the free admissions mentioned above.     For the service traffic you can choose between two options:

    1) Full fare of 5 Euros, including 2 hours of free parking on the blue lines.

    2) Discounted rate of 3 Euros, in effect only in the first 6 months, with parking excluded.


    With regard to terms of payment, tickets must be paid by midnight of the day after entering the area. Payment can be made in one of the following ways:


    1) By purchasing paper tickets at authorized resellers.
