In certain areas of Germany, the winter is particularly severe and too many homeless people freeze to death every year. But to cope with the cold emergency, the city of Ulm, in the Baden-Württemberg region, has adopted an innovative solution that allows homeless people to spend the night in shelter and safety. We hope that the initiative will also be replicated in other German cities and also in our country, where still in 2021 too many people unfortunately die of cold, in general indifference!
