    Still cautionary reminders of turmeric-based supplements. While cases of acute cholestatic hepatitis remain steady at 21, the Ministry of Health has issued the precautionary recall of three additional products:





    • Curcumin Piperine + AIF brand, in packs of 60 and 90 tablets (48 and 72 grams)
    • Curcumin Plus 95% piperine and vitamins B1, B2, B6 under the Line @ brand, in packs of 60 and 30 tablets (48 and 24 grams)
    • CRCMN-P branded HB (Health & Beauty), in packs of 180 tablets (144 grams). (DGISAN 0041277-P-20/06/2019)

    For all 3 there is a report of a case of acute liver pain related to the use of the product CURCUMINA PLUS 95% + PIPERIN & VITAMINS B1, B2, B6 LINE.

    "As a precaution, with the utmost urgency, collect / recall the lot concerned, make available all useful information on the characteristics of the raw materials used, the checks to which they are subjected and the initiatives implemented to ensure safety of products placed on the market ".

    The supplements Curcumin Plus 95% piperine and Curcumin Piperine + have already undergone other precautionary calls in the past weeks, always in association with the reported cases of hepatitis.


    In total, 17 batches of 14 different turmeric supplements have now been withdrawn.

    We remind you that, according to what is written on the Ministry's website: “pending analyzes, consumers are invited, as a precaution, to suspend the consumption of these products“.


    Be aware that most of these supplements are also sold online.
