Tidying up the wardrobe is one of the many ways to get rid of the superfluous and start living better. We want to underline, however, an important aspect: do not throw away the clothes and accessories you no longer use but donate them to charity or barter them by organizing a swap-parties with friends.

The selection of clothes and accessories that we still wear or that we no longer need it is the most delicate moment tidying up the wardrobe. In fact, sometimes it is difficult to give up the clothes we care about because they represent memories even if we have not worn them for years or because we think they will be useful in the future. But if you want a drastic reorganization you have to choose and the advice is to base yourself on the size in order to discard at least the clothes that are now too small. If you have space, in any case, you can still keep old clothes, perhaps putting them in some boxes which, however, will have to find space elsewhere.
The four-box method

Take advantage of the doors
If the doors of your wardrobe are not sliding but open outwards and if the space available allows it, you could use them to add hooks to hang bags or storage boxes.
Baskets
Another ploy for a tidier closet is that of stack baskets on each other in which to divide the clothes by type or by color. You can also create baskets with ready-made combinations for example for trousers, shirt and sweater.
Use pillow cases
The pillowcases they can become containers for the sheets in order to better organize your bed sets. If you have old pillow cases, you could also turn them into containers for smaller towels or belts.
Fill in the space below
Consider that part of the closet where you usually hang jackets and dresses. You will find that perhaps there is some space left in the lower part. Here you could place folded sweatshirts or sweaters, or blankets, even rolled up, or shoes in their boxes.
Fold long pants and dresses
To save space right at the bottom of the closet, try hanging pants and long dresses after you have them folded in half. In this way the space occupied in height will be halved and you can better organize the wardrobe.
