In fact, in the United States, millions of families use packaged milk plastic bottles and the mission of this company is precisely that of recycle the huge amount of waste that follows. All Loll outdoor furniture is composed 100% high density polyethylene (HDPE) Recycled used in packaging, not only those for milk, but also for bottles of detergent, tubs for margarine etc ... All colors except black are in post-consumer recycled materials, i.e. recovered from waste products destined for disposal, which have completed their life cycle. All the furniture is therefore in 100% recycled and recyclable materials: the company estimates, for example, that for every kilogram of weight of a chair, about 8 jugs of milk with the consequent saving of natural resources and the reduction of waste in landfills.
But not just chairs: the new Loll line, officially presented at the latest FFCI it is also composed of tables, planters and even box for birds.
But sustainability at Loll can be felt at every stage of the manufacturing and sales process. The company, in fact, pays an annual fee to the Carbofound, a non-profit association aimed at protecting the environment with particular attention to reducing global warming, on every single product sold with the aim of curbing, economically compensating for it, the waste of carbon generated during shipments. For the latter then Loll makes use of recycled cardboard boxes, recovered from the sidewalks and the parcels themselves come packaged and padded with recycled materials.
Furthermore, Loll is also a member and collaborator for 1% For The Planet with the aim of being able to help their local area of Minnesota. Still in terms of ecological protection, it is worth mentioning that the energy used in its processes derives from renewable sources and in particular from wind farms.
