A factory will be built in Bientina for the processing of biomass from hemp, grown in an area of overall 400 hectares, partly adjacent to the factory and partly within 30 kilometers of the factory itself.
How do you explain Fabrizio Sassetti, responsible for sowing and harvesting biomass, the factory will employ approx 15 employees and the project, which has now finally entered the operational phase, will be fully operational from 2013
"This is the result of twelve years of experimentation and tests, it is a project of great environmental value because the product is the result of a particular hemp pressing system combined with an additive patented by us." Sasseti then explains that among all natural products, hemp is among those that offer the best results because of simple cultivation, resistant to parasites, fast growing and does not need much water. In the past this type of plant, the c, low hallucinogen, was grown mainly for textile uses but the tests and experiments have shown that it can also be used in green building: once fully operational, the Bientina factory will be able to produce 300 thousand square meters of cladding and 250 thousand square meters of "hemp wood".
La CanapaLithos (owned by CMFTecnology) is the leader of the regional project on hemp supply chain for the production of biomass and asks all agricultural operators to participate in the project in order to enhance individual companies and strengthen the organization and supply chain relationships.
