Raw strawberry jam

500 grams of strawberries
2 spoons of ground chia seeds
Lemon or lime juice (optional)

This Strawberry jam has a peculiarity: does not require cooking. It is therefore not long-life, but can be freshly prepared to be consumed within a few days and placed in the refrigerator in the meantime. Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves. Cut them in half and blend them in a normal blender until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous. Pour into the strawberry puree i Chia seeds ground and mix. You can also add a little lemon or lime juice. Pour the jam into a jar, close with a lid and let it thicken in the refrigerator. Keep it in the refrigerator and consume it within a few days. Sultana marmalade

  • 250 grams of sultanas (dehydrated raisins)
  • 180 milliliters of water
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon

Rinse the sultanas in a colander. Pour it into a saucepan and add the indicated amount of water and a pinch of ground cinnamon. Cook over low heat until the raisins have completely absorbed the water. Blend using an immersion blender and transfer the jam thus obtained, while still boiling, into sterilized glass jars, to be closed immediately. Since raisins are very sweet in their own right, no need to add sugar.



Pear and ginger jam

  • 500 grams of apples
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pour them into a saucepan with the juice of half a lemon, half a glass of water and a teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
