Cesenatico has been dyed with a thousand colors thanks to a born wool bridge to fight the fog and the dullness. More and more initiatives of Urban Knitting that come to life in our country. Do not forget, for example, the appointment of next April 6, in L'Aquila, with Let's get a piece 2014.
On March 8, 2014 the Garibaldi bridge of via Mazzini in Cesenatico was coated of colorful knitted fabrics thanks to the initiative "A sea of wool". It is a Patrizia Budini project. For 5 months she was in charge of coordinating 70 Cesenatico women of all ages to cover the bridge by Women's Day.
This is how the women of Cesenatico are real “guerrigliere” dell’Urban Knitting, were able to rediscover the pleasure of knitting. About 40 kg of wool was used to cover the deck, which was knitted and crocheted. Each woman has made available her art and creativity to give life to a formidable project.
Thanks to their commitment, the Cesenatico bridge was covered on schedule and the initiative received a recognition from the councilor Lina Amormino, for reward the great commitment of women, both in knitting and from the point of view of solidarity.
The wool bridge, which will make a fine show of itself until March 23 2014, is ready to awelcome spring. The women of Cesenatico have created a real one working group, which may surprise us soon with new Urban Knitting works. Some creations have already sprung up here and there in the city, from decorations for the gate of the house to decorations for the trees in the garden.
