    Food warnings related to ethylene oxide contamination are now commonplace. More and more often this dangerous pesticide ends up on our tables.





    One of the latest recalls ordered by the Ministry of Health concerns a batch of food supplement based on Vitamin C, Zinc, acerola and bamboo manna. The notice refers to the branded product Plant line, sold in packs of 60 capsules. In fact, the "presence of ethylene oxide in the raw material extracted from Bambusa arundinacea (75% natural silicon)" was found in the supplement.

    As a precaution, it is therefore recommended not to consume the supplement with the reported batch number and to return it to the store where it was purchased.
