Coop recalls Scottish Smoked Fish & Fine salmon for listeria risk

    Smoked Scottish Fish & Fine salmon sold in some Coop supermarkets has been recalled for listeria risk.

    On its website, Coop has announced the withdrawal for microbiological risk of a batch of Scottish smoked salmon of the Fish & Fine brand. The product has been reported for the "presence of Listeria monocytogenes".





    The recall concerns the Scottish smoked salmon Fish & Fine, produced bycompany Kristal So doo Natural Fish, Nova industrijska zona bb, Krnjesevci, is distributed in Serbia by Sicily Food srl.

    Specifically, the package is 200 grams and the lot affected by the food alert is the 103936090712-25421 with expiry date: 21/10/2021.

    The reason for the recall, as mentioned above, is the presence of non-compliant Listeria monocytogenes. This means that by consuming it you risk food poisoning caused by this bacterium. Coop reports that the product was on sale in some points of sale in Emilia Romagna. If you have bought it, avoid consuming it but immediately bring it back to the supermarket for a refund.
