    A new recall has been posted on the Ministry of Health website and this time it concerns a batch of Foods Limited Basmati Rice (Original Basmati Rice), which has been withdrawn from supermarkets due to the presence of pesticides.





    The alert was published on the site on March 29, 2021, although the recall notice is dated March 25.

    This is the Original Basmati Rice / Basmati Rice product, with the product brand Absolute Finest Since 1984 Dawaat, producer LT Foods Limited, based in the plant at Bosporusstraat 42 in Rotterdam.

    The recalled batch number is GFT 21/2020, with expiry date or minimum storage term of April 2022 and sales unit represented by the 1 kg bag.


    The reason for the recall is the presence of pesticides, although it is not specified which one they are.


    If you bought it, do not eat it and return it to the point of sale.
