The ministerial authorities have reported that in the Giuliani "Giusto Gluten Free" biscuits with Oat, Coconut and Orange and Oats with Cranberries and Chocolate, soy may be present that is not declared on the package labels.
While consumption by non-allergic people is not a problem, it is for those suffering from this type of allergy. The consumption of these cookies, for the second category of people, could be risky, hence the need to arrange the withdrawal of the cookies involved in the potential contamination.
According to what is reported in the two safety notices of the Ministry of Health, there are two lots recalled:
- Oat flakes cookie with cranberries and chocolate: size of 50 gr and expiration date coinciding with the batch number (03/05/2021)
- Oat flakes cookie with coconut and dark chocolate: size 50 gr and expiration date coinciding with the batch number (24/03/2021)
Both lots were produced by Shankara Bulgaria, in Sofia.
