    They then monitored the productivity of employees in the following months in two large commercial offices in the UK and the Netherlands. The research was conducted under the leadership of Marlon Nieuwenhuis, of Cardiff University’s School of Psychology, that said:

    “Our research suggests that investing in office furniture with plants will pay off with increased productivity and quality of life for workers. Although previous research conducted in the laboratory pointed in this direction, our research is the first to examine this in an actual office, showing the long-term benefits. It questions the philosophy according to which a bare and tidy office makes you more productive ”.

    According to experts, plants in the office make employees more physically, cognitively and emotionally engaged in work. Dr Craig Knight, co-author of the research, said the study helped to understand positives and negatives of the office decor as it happens today.
