A "one-off" bonus of 200 euros for workers and retirees who have an income below 35 thousand euros. For pensioners it will be paid in July, while for employees the employer will take care of it, who will recover the amount at the first possible tax payment.

Intended for incomes up to 35 thousand euros gross, comes a only one bonus give 200 euro for workers, both employees and self-employed, e pensioners, to fight inflation and expensive bills Retirees will receive it in July, while aid for bills becomes retroactive.
This is one of the measures contained in the Aid Decree just approved by the Government, a contribution intended for approximately 28 million families.
If retirees receive it with their July pension, employers will take care of the bonus to employees directly in their paycheck between June and July, and they will recover it at the first tax payment. The self-employed will be able to draw on a special fund that should be created shortly.
As we said, the measure was designed for those with an annual income of less than 35 thousand euros as an aid to counter the increases recorded in various sectors and is added to the cut planned for 2022 of 0,8% in the social security rate on public employees who they have a salary below the same threshold, that is up to 35 thousand euros.
How will the one-off allowance of 200 euros work for workers and pensioners
The bonus will likely be paid out
- on paychecks in June for employees
- as a reinforcement of the fourteenth scheduled for July in pension checks
- for self-employed workers, included in the concession, instead the technical formula with which to get the 200 euro bonus is still to be defined
The retroactive bill bonus
The social bonus for bills becomes retroactive. According to the text of the draft, in fact:
For the purposes of the Isee declarations, it is interpreted as meaning that in the event of obtaining a certificate that allows the application of the electricity and gas social bonuses, any payment, in the current year but on a date prior to obtaining the certificate, of sums exceeding those due on the basis of the application of the bonus, are subject to automatic compensation to be made in the immediately following bills, or if this is not possible, automatically reimbursed. In the event that the payment has not yet been made, the amount is re-determined with application of the bonus.
The cut in excise duties on fuels has instead an extension until 8 July.
