If a glass of red or white wine is the way you like to relax, then this job is for you. A winery is in fact looking for people to taste the wine they produce with a "very decent" salary: 200 pounds, just over 220 euros, every time a tasting session ends. Among the requirements, living in the UK.

The company is the Wine List, which by the way also offers online subscriptions to wine courses and to become professional tasters, and this year is looking for someone new to join their wine tasting staff.

“We may be biased, but we think this might be the best job in the world,” they say in the ad.

The offer

Every month the Wine List sends wines to its customers thanks to some collaborators who help choose the wines to ship. Now “we want to find a new addition to our panel: someone outside the wine business to help us,” they say.

The company, therefore, is looking for someone not expert in the knowledge of wines and grapes. He will send the successful candidate a selection of wines three or four times a year, he will have to try them and provide his feedback.

“This will help integrate our tasting notes, understanding of wines and our decision making. The wines we share with you will be part of a short list of potential wines that we are considering ”.

Reliability

• Tasting of a case of wine, four times a year
• Provide detailed feedback on each of the wines. Once the feedback has been sent, the chosen one will receive 200 pounds
• Make recommendations based on those choices
• Feedback must be provided to Wine List within one week of receipt of the case

Requirements

• Applicant must be over 18 years old
• He must not have any established qualification as a wine or be a sommelier
