Even in the fatal year of Covid, which brought every production sector to its knees, Ferrero does not give in to the crisis. The group has made it known that in October there will be a production bonus of over 2 thousand euros in the employees' paychecks.
Yesterday the Ferrero company management, after meeting with the trade unions via videoconference, announced the amount of the PLO awards (bonuses linked to objectives) for employees for the year 2019/2020.
"The maximum amount that can be reached, for the current year, is Euro 2.220,00 gross and is determined by the trend of two parameters: the economic result, unique for the whole company (which contributes to determining 30% of the bonus), and the operating result (70% of the bonus) linked to the specific performance of each plant / area ", reads the official press release.
Despite the Covid emergency, therefore, Ferrero knows no crisis and rewards employees with a substantial bonus, which will be paid in October.
However, the prizes will differ according to the locations. They range from € 2.170 for employees of S.Angelo to € 2.029 for workers who took care of areas and warehouses.
“The Company and the trade unions jointly express full satisfaction with the results achieved in a particularly difficult and complicated year due to the effects of the pandemic” continues Ferrero.
