Fear has returned to Genoa. The violent rains caused the flooding of the Bisagno, Fereggiano, Scrivia and Sturla streams. Last night, the Civil Protection of the Municipality ha invited citizens not to use the car and to avoid sleeping in the basement rooms or on the ground floors but go up, where possible, to the upper floors in areas at risk of flooding. Schools and universities closed for today 10 October. But one person died in the Brignole area.

But now the damage is counted and help is sought. The Municipality is looking for volunteers for the areas affected by the flood.
