There is a recall from supermarkets for some batches of Vivibene Selex lactose-free mozzarella: they contain this allergen due to a packaging error
Don't store avocado like this: it's dangerousIf you are intolerant or allergic to lactose and you recently bought some mozzarella sold in many supermarkets under the Selex brand, pay close attention. The Ministry of Health has recalled some batches of this dairy product. The manufacturing company has in fact communicated that it has mistakenly put the morsels of mozzarella cheese with lactose in packages marked "lactose free". A mistake that can cost dearly to the health of those who consume them in an unaware way.
The recalled products are sold in packs of 125 grams and show the expiration dates of 3 and 5 May 2022. Here is the card with the lots and in question and other info relating to the mozzarella withdrawn from the market:
@Ministry of Health
For those who do not suffer from allergies or lactose intolerances, the problem does not arise. But allergic and intolerant subjects must not consume the mozzarella in question and can bring the products to the point of sale where they were purchased.
