If there is creativity and desire to do, there is no age limit that holds: this is what the story of Anežka (Agnes) Kašpárková demonstrates, 87 years brought with grace and a deep passion for painting, which for years has pushed her to spend most of their time decorating the houses of their village.

It happens to Louka, in the south of the Czech Republic, where this enterprising artist with white hair and only apparently fragile hands does her best to make the world around her more colorful, joyful and hospitable.
"I only do the ones I like." - recently, with great humility, told a local newspaper - "I try to help decorate the world a little bit."
Her passion for painting exploded about thirty years ago, after retiring: unable to remain idle, Agnes learned the art of drawing from an old woman in the village and, when the latter is dead, he decided to continue his work, embellishing the buildings with elaborate ultramarine blue designs, which stand out against the pure white of the walls.
Its decorations, all with a floral theme but all different and original, are made with a rather expensive paint, which guarantees a duration of at least two years, despite the exposure to the elements and the poor quality of the plaster.
Painting outside can be very tiring, especially in winter: but Agnes does not give up her hobby and carries it on with patience, without forcing but also with great seriousness and dedication. Just think that, periodically, he dedicates himself to decorating the white walls of the village chapel, without hesitating to use a ladder to get higher.
Its story, simple yet special, reveals a passion for beauty that is stronger than time and effort and that should inspire us all.
