Frozen swordfish recalled for mercury over the limits, brand and lot

    A new food alert concerns frozen swordfish steaks, recalled as the presence of mercury beyond the limits was found. The brand is Noriberica sold by Metro, a wholesale chain

    Metro reports the recall by the producer of “frozen crescent swordfish slices” of the Noriberica brand. A batch of this product has been withdrawn from the market as it has "mercury beyond the permitted limits".





    Specifically, it is necessary to avoid consuming the 150/250 gram swordfish in trance produced by the company Congelados Noriberica SA, in the plant of Camiño de Cebral 11 in Mos, Pontevedra (Spain).

    Pay attention to the following lot number and expiration date:

    • Lot P22-059-76 - expiry date 14/09/2023
