    The Ministry of Health recalled some batches of biscuits with chocolate chips and rice cakes due to the possible presence of Salmonella: here are the products concerned, not to be consumed

    The list of foods at risk of contamination is getting longer Salmonella, after the international references concerning the chocolate eggs and the Kinder Schoko Bons produced by Ferrero. This time, some batches of dark chocolate and milk rice biscuits and rice cakes under the Elite brand have been recalled to our country.




    To withdraw the products as a precaution, the Ministry of Health, which in the notice published spoke of "the possible presence of Salmonella". Also in this case the dangerous bacterium could have contaminated the chocolate used among the ingredients.

    The snacks in question are produced by the Strauss-Elite company in a factory based in Israel, but are also sold in our country by Alberto Terracina's BET KOSHER SAS of Rome.

    Here are the lots affected by the recall:

    • RICE CAKES - Dark chocolate rice cakes (article KLP1192) sold in packs of 70 grams - all lots produced before 29/04/2022
    • RICE CAKES - Milk chocolate rice cakes (item KLP1166) sold in packs of 70 grams - all lots produced before 29/04/2022
    • Elite chocolate chip cookies (article KLP1128) - all batches produced before 29/04/2022 with relative expiration dates, sales unit represented by the 180 gram package
