A study from Japan reveals the profession that would not allow you to live as long as others, shortening your life more than all

Disturbing news comes from a very recent Japanese study that has discovered which is the job that requires the most energy and grueling efforts capable of compromise health up to shorten the life span of those who practice it.

The Japanese team of researchers studied the arts category, belonging to one of the four traditional professions of the Rising Sun, taking into consideration the date of birth and death of well over 700 artists, with particular reference to those performing in the Kabuki theater.

They would therefore be the actors of the traditional Japanese theater Kabuki to be practitioners of the profession that most of all shortens the life span.

Over 85% of Kabuki artists would suffer from ailments due to the exhausting physical activity carried out during the shows. In this form of theatrical representation the actors perform very complex choreographies with very rapid movements that are repeated in sets that can last even four hours, exposing performers to foot, knee or back injuries.

In addition to the debilitating physical performance of the Kabuki artists, the cosmetics used would also have caused young deaths. In the early twentieth century, Japanese artists were in fact forced to use a type of lead containing makeup, banned in the country since 1934, which often caused poisoning by this poisonous metal.

The study would therefore argue that the more high-intensity exercise you do, the more it could harm your health and not just because of the effects repeated movements could have on your joints. Another study would seem to put forward the same thesis, confirming that excessive physical exertion at high intensity would produce the impairment of mitochondria.

The Japanese hypothesis, however, is in contrast with many other researches that show instead that when physical activity is good for the body, the mind and contributes to longevity in general. One thing is certain: never go beyond your limit, you can do everything in moderation.
