    The Bulletin of Unioncamere's Excelsior information system reveals which workers are most sought after by companies.





    2022 promises to be a good year for who it is looking for a job since a large number of firms will select candidates for new hires. The Excelsior Bulletin, produced by Unioncamere and Anpal, records a increase in the demand for workforce for all economic sectors, with the exception of tourism due to the unpredictability of the Covid pandemic.  

    There are sought-after figures with greater difficulty on which companies set their eyes upon receiving the first curriculum, but also many other roles for which the possibilities of insertion are high, for the most part with an initial fixed-term contract.

    The flow of hires would start right from this January and for these figures the contract would be insured as they are the most difficult to find and therefore those that have the best chance:

    • IT, telematic and telecommunication technicians (68%);
    • Chemists, physicists and mathematicians and other professionals in the natural sciences (67%);
    • Specialized construction and maintenance workers (63%);
    • Health and social service personnel (56%)
    • Teachers of various grades (56%);

    The regions with the highest recruitments are also reconfirmed in 2022 in the north, as shown in the graph.

    Also for i immigrant workers the profiles sought are various and most of them in the tertiary sector. The request for foreign personnel mainly concerns services for people, company support, transport and logistics.
