Located in Mount's Bay, in western Cornwall, England, the island faces the town of Marazion with which it is connected by ferry. Surely you have already noticed this. St. Michael's Mount is very similar, not only because of its name, to the beautiful Mont Saint-Michel of Normandy, in France, every year a destination for tourists due to the exceptional amplitude of the tides (about 14 meters in altitude) which literally isolates the town. .
And the similarity is anything but coincidental. Even the English island, like the French one, is a place dedicated to the archangel Michael, who according to legend appeared in 495. Subsequently the abbey bearing the name was built and replaced in the XNUMXth century by the fortress still present today.

The remuneration ranges from 24.000 to 29.000 pounds (approximately 27.000-33.000 euros) and accommodation on the island is also offered.
