A tribute to the timeless Frida Kahlo and her art. Vans launches a new shoe collection that is inspired by the Mexican painter and female icon. A palette of colors directly at our feet!
The new Vans collection dedicated to Frida Kahlo was launched on June 29, which includes three models: Silhouette OG Sk8-Hi LX with Frida's self-portrait, an OG Authentic LX with an all-over print of "Viva la vida" and an OG Slip-On LX celebrating Frida's famous painting, “Self-Portrait with a Necklace of Thorns and a Hummingbird”.

We have talked many times about Frida Kahlo, much more than an artist, an unconventional icon and her tormented life marked by an untimely death and a terrible accident, still the passion for Diego Rivera.
But Frida was much more: an exponent of surrealism, an icon of female emancipation but also of style for her colors and her look. Not surprisingly, fashion continues to be inspired by her. This time it is the turn of the well-known Vans brand with a collection of tennis shoes.
