A graffiti of denunciation on the dramatic situation of the Calais refugees, on the border with France. This is the new mural that Banksy he made in London. The artist returns to deal with the refugee issue in his works.

The mural is located next to the French Embassy in London. At the center of the work we find a young woman in tears. It is most likely about Cosette, character from Victor Hugo's "The Miserable".

Behind the young woman there is French flag, while at his feet Banksy painted a can of tear gas. Under the graffiti there is a QR code that allows you to trace the video showing the field for i Calais refugees, called "The Jungle".

Thanks to QR code for the first time a Banksy work becomes interactive. The video refers to an incursion of the police forces among the refugees of Calais, which took place last January 5.

It seems that the owner of the building on which the mural was made did not react very well and decided to cover the work with wooden panels, as the BBC reports. We do not know what will happen to the graffiti, so it is even more important that the images of denunciation created by Banksy go around the world to sensitize as many people as possible to a topic in front of which closing one's eyes is all too easy.

Banksy some time ago had already dealt with the refugee theme with a mural depicting a portrait of Steve Jobs and which invited reflection on this topic, given that the founder of Apple was the son of Syrian refugees. Are we therefore still convinced that immigration represents damage to a country's resources?

Let's not forget Dismaland, the playground of the absurd wanted by Banksy and then turned into a place of welcome for refugees thanks to the sending of structures no longer used to Calais so that they could become precious resources to give life to shelters.

Here the video to which Banksy's mural is related via QR code. What do you think?
