Yes they can transforming bird songs into art? The answer is yes and digital artist Andy Thomas has tried giving shape to the chirps of the birds of the Amazon. After recording the sounds on site, he turned them into animated digital sculptures, in his own art project entitled "Visual Sounds of the Amazon".
The sounds have thus become colored images that move on the screen, mobile plastic structures that seem to dance in front of the amazed spectator. In this regard, the artist, as you can read on her website, said:
“I see sounds as shapes and colors in motion in my imagination. Bringing these to life is the hard part. There are endless hours to sketch and test particle effects. Some of the results are more refined and match my imagination more than others. "
Why precisely the Amazon? Because it is the green lung of the world, said the artist, threatened by deforestation despite its importance to us all.
