From the house of Jupiter, partially excavated in the late nineteenth century, different environments emerge, bright walls colored by Pompeian red with stucco frames and frescoes.
The mythological scene recalls the idea of Love and Death: Adonis is wounded by a boar unleashed against him by Ares jealous of his mistress Aphrodite.
