A call for tenders for agricultural parks is coming, much awaited by farms struggling - even them - with expensive bills
He is about to end up run over, his mother saves himA tender will be published by 31 March to finance the installation of solar panels on the roofs of buildings for productive use in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sectors. Finally a incentive for agrifotovoltaics which could help companies in the sector struggling with expensive bills.
As explained by the Ministry of Agricultural, Agricultural and Forestry Policies (MiPAAF), it is part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) with an expected budget of 1,5 billion EUR.
The objective is to support investments for the construction of electricity production plants in the agricultural sector, totally excluding land consumption - reads the MiPAAF website - The intervention provides, in fact, theinstallation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings for productive use in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sectors, aiming to achieve the installation of photovoltaic panels on a total area of 4,3 million square meters for 0,43 GW, and thus contributing to increasing the sustainability and energy efficiency of the sector
Agrifotovoltaics is one of the possible countermeasures against the expensive bills faced by citizens and businesses, allowing the production of energy from renewable sources to be fed into the grid, reducing costs for consumption only. And what more it has no negative impact on land consumption.
The silicon "esplanades" that companies still offer today can be overcome by agrifotovoltaics - Stefano Ciafani, President of Legambiente also told us - that is photovoltaic that integrates with agricultural production, with suspended and elevated panels that guarantee the machines of agricultural workers to operate on the land

A real opportunity then.
The applications of the call, once sent, will then be managed by the GSE, which the MiPAAF has indicated as the implementer of the dedicated PNRR intervention line (Component 2.1). The ministry is preparing a 'public-public' agreement that promises to immediately start the implementation operations of the photovoltaic programs that will pass the selection.
The publication is now awaited, hoping it will be a simple procedure also for small and medium-sized enterprises.
