The Japanese site Futabanet Manga Plus has launched a survey to decide which is the favorite heroine of the japanese manga, many of which are available on Netflix.

She possesses an Aether Crystal, which can save her in times of danger. Possessing the Aether Crystal, she is chased by Dola's gang, Muska, and the military.
Kiki, Kiki – Get home
The young aspiring witch Kiki, turned thirteen, as per family tradition, must spend a year away from home for a practicum in the magical arts. She rides her and fucks her in the company of her cute black cat Jiji, and she arrives in a quaint seaside village. Hosted by a couple of bakers, Kiki will try to support herself by designing a flying delivery service.

Satsuki, My neighbor Totoro
Satsuki and Mei are two sisters, aged eleven and four, who have just moved with their father to a small country village in order to be closer to their mother who is hospitalized. Little Mei, exploring the surroundings of the new house, encounters a majestic camphor tree surrounded by ropes of rice straw (Shinto symbol of purification) inside which lives an enormous soft and hairy creature: it is Totoro, one 'kami' spirit of the forest.
From six onwards there are: San (Princess Mononoke), Marnie (When Marnie was there), Ponyo, Shizuku (The sighs of my heart), and Dola (Laputa, The castle in the sky).
