It happens in the Parque de Atenas, in the central district of the capital, whose public sports facility will see the use of 22 thousand kilos of glass recovered by the citizens.

    In fact, to promote the initiative and raise awareness among the people of Madrid on the importance of recycling and reuse, 40 containers in the shape of colorful basketballs on which stands the campaign motto: “Be the most valuable player in recycling”.

    All this is the result of a close agreement between the NBA for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Department of Environment and Transport of the Municipality of Madrid and the Ecovidrio association. in the city the material that will give life to the first basketball court in the world in recycled material.

    To the sound of "recicla y ganamos todos", "recycle and we will all win", the people of Madrid will be able to enjoy a very special field: a field that reminds them that everyone's collaboration is essential to make a city and the whole planet a more sustainable.
